Default Code for gutted cats?

My car has gutted cats and is throwing a code because of it. I hear there is a way to make the car not recognize the code or something. How would I go about doing this?

I heard if you use a spark plug non fouler on the rear o2 sensors the code will go away. Or if you get a tune and they delete the rear o2 sensor readings. Or you can use o2 simulators.

This is how I had it done with an ORY. You just have to find a shop that is willing to do it (most any performance shop will), though it is illegal. It will cost a bit of money too obviously but that code is annoying and makes the car run like crap. 02 simulators is obviously another option

I have someone who I think can do the tuning. How bad does the car run with the code?

Also, I'm in FL so we don't have emissions to worry about.

some shops charge like 20 bucks a code. simulators are like 50ish, but they do go out after a while. i wish i would have kept my cats. it was pretty useless to gut them out. didnt even gain anything other than a stinky exhaust

Sweet, thanks. I think I'm gonna try the non-fouler idea. What size ones do I need?

Any tampering with emissions is actually a federal offense....
