Default Just got a 2000 SS Vert...Brake Question

My 1996 Z28 Vert was totaled not too long ago. Just picked up a 2000 SS vert.

Before the '96 I had a '95 hard top - so LT1's have been my world for a long time. I'm new to the LS1 scene - so on with the first question.

I know it needs brakes - it was a snap for front and rear on the '96 - anything I should know before digging in to this one? Oh, and does the SS have a different brake setup than a standard Z28?

almost 100% sure the SS did not have a brake upgrade from the Z28. brakes are pretty self explanatory, just remember to lube up the pads.

yea Z28=SS except for a few apperance things, well as for brakes, go to installunivercity.com on the install guides, also remember to use antisieze on the bolts and resurface rotors!

Do people still turn rotors? They always seem to get replaced now.
