Default Stock A4 RWHP?

Anyone ever dyno their stock A4?

I have one, with 2.73's, and was just wondering what the stock hp at the wheels is.

Dynojet will see 285-300 like 97BlackLT1TA said, but expect about 10-15 less if it's a Mustang dyno. Commonly thrown around numbers are DynoJet numbers.

Thanks for the info! Yeah, I guess the dyno forum would have been a good idea. I had just noticed someone asking for RWHP guesstimates a few posts down in this forum, that's what made me think to post here.

I want to take it to the dyno eventually to find out for myself. I'm almost afraid to though..... I'm worried it'll pull some ridiculously low numbers and I'll be dissapointed, lol!

This is my dyno results back in Dec. 2001 (IIRC), back when my 2001 Camaro SS A4 was still factory/showroom stock with only 10,000 miles on it.

Agreed. There's a girl here with a T/A (around a 2000 I think) that barely makes 300hp and runs 12.6's on drag radials all day. It's gone as low as a 12.16 but with really good air and a tail wind.

I hear ya man!! When I was shopping for the car, I actually WANTED 2.73's if I got an A4, thinking I wanted the better mileage. Well, after driving the car for a few months, it's just not worth the trade off. If I get on it the car will move, but driving normal it just feels slow. I get in my 4.0L Jeep with 3.73's and 31's, and the thing feels like a rocket off the line compared to the 'Bird.

I'm really looking forward to taking her to the track....it's closed for the season though, I gotta wait till April to get some numbers.
