Default Debaffle To do or not

I have an aftermarket hood from here http://www.ramairhood.com/.

I want to debaffle it because it lets barely any air through to the engine. But I am worried water will be able to get in. This car is my only car and it will be driven in rain snow and whatever else is thrown at while i'm driving. so is it safe to debaffle it?
