hmm in essence it is easier to swap heads then leaving the heads on and swapping the valvetrain.....but that is just from my experience...if you are curious you will want to just have someone else do it

I think the reason its easier to do both is because you have alot stuff removed allready for each task and not to mention a tune if you do it all at once one trip to the tuner.
Also you got your fluids oil and coolant that I would replace anyway when doing either or.
they make some nice tools to do the springs so I dont realy think thats the issue.

yes and no really depend on the ability of the person doing the work. If it is a cam that doesnt require replacement of the springs then cam only would be easier. But if you are asking if you are going to replace the springs with the cam you might as well have the heads pulled even if you dont replace them. have them ported out and cleaned up make them the best they can be.
