Default What does Low Reference mean on connection to PCM

I'm installing a data logger and need to understand what the wiring functions are for the various sensors.

I can figure out all that I need except the "Low Reference" wire that is common on many of the sensors. Could someone help me out here.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you. I thought that had to be the case, but didn't want to assume anything.

not a ground, its not getting 5 volts to the refrence wire to all the sensors, more than likely a short inside the PCM.

Sorry, I'm not trying to trouble shoot. I'm just trying to find out what purpose the low reference wire serves. If it is not a ground, what does it do?

Thanks again.

its not a ground. its a refrence (5 volts) sent to all the sensors for them to compare readings to. i.e. when your TB is opened to WOT, the TPS reads ~4.7 of 5.0 volts.....
