Question Which Camshaft?

Hey, I have a 2002 Trans Am with a comp cams 220/224 cam and was thinking about upgrading to the Texas Speed 228/228 114 lsa. http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=167&catid=44 The heads on the car are only TEA stage 1.5 5.3 ported and polished heads. Is this a good sized cam for this car with the size of the heads? I am looking for a little more hp and tq increase over the small cam that is in it now. Any suggestions on which cam would be most compatible with these heads and still get a little more power would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I think cam questions and general "what mods should i get" questions are the MOST common here. Try posting this is in the GEN III internal engine forum..?

I dont thing that upgrading your cam is going to make a huge diffrence, IMO I would put the heads on and upgrade your intake and TB to somthing larger like a 90 mm you can send your intake off to tpis for 300 buck (unless you plan on forced induction nitrous or boost go with somthing stronger) and buy a 90 mm tb for 500, if you havent all ready do somthing better than your stock air box and get some kind of SSRA kit somthing of that nature.
