Default Header Question NEED HELP!!!!!!

im thinking about buying a set of pacesetter long tube headers for my car, i still have EGR will have i have to delete it if i put the headers on there or can i keep it on there?

need help prob going to order them tomarow thanks

have to delete it bro. put a freeze plug in the intake hole its a 1 3/8 in freeze plug. got it a AZ for 3.95 or some ****! enjoy bro. BTW get the egr tuned out for best performance! get the rear o2s tuned out, or use 02 sims. for the front o2s get corvette 02s and that should good! enjoy bro.

i think pacesetter has air/egr provision headers

98 longtubes have the egr and air ports on it but mine are blocked off.... I'd remove mine too but it isn't a must

It depends on the headers you buy. They have race headers and emissions headers.

Exactly, you can either buy the race style (no EGR or AIR) or the regular headers that have fitments for both EGR and AIR.

Yep but go ahead and delete now. Cleans up the engine bay a lot. Really looks better under there with all that stuff gone.

lucky for you guys that don't have to deal with emissions... at least they make an option for EGR, look to see if they charge extra for the provisions or if you don't need to worry about emissions inspections.
