Well I am looking for a LS1 because I am doing a swap into a diffrent car.

You may be looking for just a stock LS1, but if you've got the money TSP makes a mean forged one.

TSP's is cool or if you don't mind a stock crank (which you shouldn't unless you plan on making 700+HP) Scoggin-dickey www.sdparts.com has a budget minded but sexy short block for $2800. Thats what I was gonna do until I found the 4-4-9 for $5K.

Look for auctions on eBay from a company called Cleveland Pick-A-Part. A sensational company to buy salvage engines from.

depends on your budget! sponsor, classified section, here or a few other forums, ebay is a descent place and check all the junk yards around your area...give em a call!
