Exclamation Newb wondering about air intake set up

ok guys

ive had my 98 trans am for about 7 months now, and well i really havent done much to it,

so when i bought the car, my TA had the Suncoast creations hood/ intake setup
the one that looks like the 97 TA setup,

my question is should i just get a lid, which i think i might and lose that air intake set up???

I'm not familiar with the type of intake setup you are talking about but most people just get a lid and call it a day.

Are you talking about the cold air intake?... If so i have come to realize if it is not the perfect temp outside that thing is a waste of money...

yeah i posted a link that shows the set up,

only reason im thinking of changing it is because my hood got damaged and i was wondering if its worth getting the same one or just another one and just use a lid.

It just sets off the nose of the 93-97 Birds real sick-like. If I owned a Trans Am it'd have to look like that
