Years 01-02 came with it STOCK. But if you have a 98-00 Look at the bottom of it. The Ls1 intake is curved the Ls6 is flat. Also there is a number on the top of the intake im just not sure what it is. Search and you can find it 10000's of people ask the same thing .

Neither do LS1 vette intakes though ^^^. Look at the part number and run a search here or on some GM parts site.

Since he has a T/A, I doubt someone switched the ls1 intake on it for a ls1 vette intake. Just look for the egr provision. You definitely have one if you are a 01+ car.

No problem, it was a valid point that many people probably didn't know.

SLP LS6 intakes have an option of using the EGR hose, but a lot of them dont have it.

Notice how on the inlet right above the surface area where the EGR would go is flat (Looks like a diamond)
The LS1 (below) however has this hookup.

If you would like me to circle what I'm talking about shoot me a PM or something.
It's pretty easy....Look at your intake on your car. Right where the outside air goes through the Lid then MAF then the throttle body, then you have your intake. Right where the air goes into the intake right above that is there a hose connected to it? Should be the only visible hose you can see hooked up to the intake. If there is, you have an LS1 intake (see the 2nd picture to the left of the ratchet)
If there isn't one, you have an LS6 intake. As I said though, need more help just PM me man.
