Default Where to buy mac mids???

I am looking into buying a brand new set of mac headers and was wanting to find out who has them at the best price. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I would check all the sponsers we have located on the right side of your screen and also try a search or check out the for sale threads. I do wonder though why go with midlenghts and not Longtubes?

I have read different post with people who have the mids and have good results with them. I read that they go on pretty good and have good clearance also. They just seem to be a good choice, plus I like the looks of them.
I am trying to find the best price I can get to save some money for other mods.

I have a Z28 on Sportline springs (slammed) with long tube headers and have no ground clearance issues. Might as well go big.

id you want the mac's then get them. but id prefer longtubes. they are all great except for the SLP's. check the sponsors on the right or even group purchase or sponsor sale forum down below. good luck!

I just ordered a set of American Racing long tubes with an ORY pipe from Race Proven Motorsports. They have awesome customer service and helped me chose my headers based on what I want to do in the future. I would give them a call.

Thanks for the link! How much more hp did you gain by the switch? From what I have read on different threads, there is banging and fitting issues with different sets of LT's. Just thought if there was'nt just a few hp differences I would stick with the mids. Thanks!

go with macs if that is what you want, alot of LT's bang the floor, plus on that one guys numbers, he went from 353 to 365, but he also went from cats to ORY, so out of a12 horse gain, 5 of it was from the cats, so 7 horse power gain, you really cant feel 7 horsepower so i say...'if you want MAC's, buy'em', checkout fast toys they have'em

good point on that. removing the cats probabaly did get most of the gain. But i have never had any clearance issues with my pacesetter lt's, and they are cheaper than the mac mids.

Thanks for the input guys! I am going to stick with the macs, I can give up 7 hp's, I am just wanting to build it up a little, wont be racing or anything. Plus I think they have a real good look to them!! I will check out that website.

I got 18hp/18tq with Macs.....I got my Macs with ory for $200 but if it wasn't for that killer deal I would have went lt's. IMO get lt's. You can get them to tuck up nice with a catback.....u start running into issues when you get duals, that's when **** starts scraping.

damn I cant believe these things are still being produced! I swear these things were cool back in 2002. Just get pacesetters. Pacesetters install easy and remember you arena just giving up 7hp every mod u do this -7hp will keep growing - when compared to longtubes especially if get a cam package etc.
