WS6 looks better than regular trans am so in my opinion money well spent. I like the looks, but it all in what you want and can afford.

Anyone now is buying these cars used, in which case, hoenstly WS6 doesn't make it worth any more whatsoever, so you're paying the same price (if you're looking to buy) for a T/A or a WS6, but 1's got some bells and whistles plus you can say you have a WS6

In other words, why the hell WOULDN'T you buy a WS6 instead of a T/A now?

Sometimes you just have to spell it out for people because all of the threads in the world isn't enough for them to mother-freaking understand.

Oh, and do you really think that WS6's sell for the same price as regular T/A's? Can you tell me what planet that's happening on because I'd like to check that out...

Does anyone know where I can buy the ws6 intake assembly for my 2000 5.7 t/a, not just the intake the whole lower air box assembly? The ram air does add around 15 hp and Im buying the ws6 hood anyways so I figured I should do it right. Let me know.

Most ws6 cars that are autos have 3.23 gears as well.

You could try the dealer and see if GM still stocks this part, if not then used would be your only option.

No, it doesn't. The stock WS6 "ram air" setup adds about 0-2hp at best. You have to properly seal the hood to the air box, and remove the baffles to actually get any sort of ram air effect, and even then the gains would only be at higher speeds.

Not most - all. GU5 (3.23) was a required option for a WS6 with MX0/M30 (4L60E auto).

Time to let this one die!
