Default Coolant overflow crust

Just picked up a 00 hawk and the coolant overflow dipstick if you can even call it that has a whole bunch of crusty **** on it. Should I get a flush done or am I making a big deal out of this?

32000 but it is 8 years old can't be good to let that sit in there

dexcool is nasty nasty stuff/

flush the hell out of it, and consider a change to global coolant.
