Default SLP Air lid WTF?

My SLP lid clip always pops off on the passenger side. I know it's from the motor moving a bit, I seen this on every Camaro with a SLP lid. I just can't figure out what to do with it. I tried repositioning the bellow but it still does the same thing. It sucks, that means it lets in outside air without going through the filter a bit.

Any ideas? ? ?

Mine does the same thing, but on the driver's side. It doesn't do it frequently enough to be a major issue to me though.

are you using your stock bellows? if not try that, it probably allows for more movement.

or you can try putting an extra bellows between the maf and the lid, so that it absorbs more of the engine movement.

I am using the SLP smooth Bellows, I do not have the stocker. It does it when ever I get on the gas at all. Kind of lame, I know.

But I can not think of a way to fix it. How can I get an extra bellows in there?

possibly put a silicone tube between the maf and the lid... or try to get a stock bellows, not sure if it will help what thats all i can think of.

i ahve that problem with mine as well with the stock bellow. the problem is that the lid edge sits to far back and doesn't allow the clips to fall back enough against the lower box to be far enough to pull back on mine. the clips areeven or slightly more forward so they pull loose instead of pulling tight to the airbox.

the front of the lid should go INSIDE of the bottom container thing. if you let the lip/edge stick OUTSIDE of it, it'll cause the brackets to pop off
