So Im just curious on who got an F-Body as their very first car? And how old were you at the time? Just for those that want to know. I got my SSLE as my first car at the age of 18. Im currently 19, no speeding for me or anything. How about you?

I did, it was a 96 V6 though. but it waas still an f-body. I have owned 3 cars and all of them have been f-bodys.

I pimped a red '96 V6 Stang. Slow as it was, the thing was dead reliable, looked great, and took a hell of a beating until the day I wrecked it. Did the 5.0 thing with a '95 after that, then did it ol' school with a 1980 Formula before getting this one.

Underpowered, not really. Just enough for me. Believe it or not, I havent raced her yet, punched it over a bill headed to vegas. But other than that, nothing more. I just love cruised, and hearing the roar.

my first car was a 94 cutlass supreme then an 89 chrysler new yorker then my ws6 and I now have the t/a and a 99 jeep grand cherokee laredo for my DD, I got the ws6 when I was 17 and I am 18 now.

i am on my 5th car, but my first car that I ever bought myself was by B4C camaro when I was 17...it was fun for a while, then i wanted a truck, had my 96 tahoe, missed speed, went to a 94 formula, wasn't fast enough, and now I have my 99 trans am and I am 19...

my first was an 85 camaro, when i was 17, 6 transmissions and a year and a half later i sold it. and down graded to a dakota, i still kick myself in the *** for that.

I skiped my highschool graduation at 19 to drive 7 hours to buy my 1972 Camaro with a 400 small block in it. I would do it again.

I did. I just bought it in January. 99 black Z28 6spd. It's got a lot of miles on it (174K), but it's the only way I could get an ls1 6spd with the money I make at my age of 16. The car is in great shape for the miles.

I got my LT1 T/A last summer at the age of 16. Of course some guy from this website decided to be an ******* and helped his friend sell a car that needed the engine rebuilt without telling me. I was young and stupid.. But we learn from our mistakes, and now I have an amazing T/A and I couldn't be happier (unless someone wanted to give me a C6).

When i was 16, I got a 2000 Camaro V6 with 63k. I drove the **** out of it for over two years and put over 30k on it

A couple weeks ago, I encountered a deal I couldn't pass on a low mileage 2001 Camaro SS. I traded in the V6 and now have the 01' at 18 years old. I couldn't be happier except paying for gas sucks. LS1's are not so great on gas apparently lol. Whatever, you sacrifice fuel economy with the rumble and the ability to scare your friends and family when they go for a ride
