Default buzzing sound

well when i hit or put my foot on the gas pedal I can hear a buzzing sound. if I let go or remove my foot from the pedal the sound stops.

what could be the cause? driveshaft? rear end?

what could I check.
Like I said I dont even have to hit the gas as long as my foot is touching the pedal and putting a little force on it it will make the sound.

If it's a whining sound it's more than likely your differential.

I had a high pitched wine noise and it got louder as I pushed on the gas and softer as I let off the gas. It was coming through the speakers so I knew it was electrical it turned out my battery connections were corroded to hell. After i cleaned them off the noise went away......not sure if its the same noise you have going on just thought id share.

Yeah it was driving me crazy, clean the terminals and put some anti-corrosion spray on it. Worked for me...
