Default Help getting to the coolant plug

Im trying to install an autometer gauge and have the sender/adapter for mounting the coolant plug on the pass side head above piston #8 in the back. How in the hell do you get to it? Do you have to remove the cat? Options? Opinions?

Removing the cat was actually quite easy. PB blaster and the nuts came right off.
