How miles can you get out of a LS-1 if you take care of it!

I know there was a guy one here that said he had 221K.

I have an LT1 with 240k, I have heard LS1's go 200+k also.

I have 175K on mine without any problems. I have used synthetic oil though.

depends how u drive it and take care of it....i say 200k + for a nice taken care of dd with no problems engine/tranny

man i got a 128K on my'n...when i got it, it had 16K miles on it..i've been driving the **** out of it and no problems with the engine so far..I'm about to spray it so it will probably blow up soon enough so i can build something better

just maintain it and dont cam it or drop spray on it with high miles

Theres no reason they cant go 250k+

Heh, mines at 98 with H/C put in at 85k. Gotta hate those 6 digits!

129k here if i hadnt put in the cam who knows how long it would have gone (6800 revlimiter and factory 98 rod bolts) pulled it apart no carbon on the valves and the cross hatches were still in the cylinder walls...
