Default What should i expect to pay for mid headers???

Just saved up some money and i think it's time for a nice ORY and mid headers and was wondering what price i should expect to pay online.

And what headers and a y would be best with magnaflow exhaust, in terms or hp gain and sound?

Don't bother with the mids. Go LT's. It's gonna be about the same price and you'll gain quite a bit more. Look in to the Pacesetters, they run about $400

keep checking the parts classified sections, i have a buddy who picked up mac-mids and their ory for $250. Fit well and ran great on his formula.

Only reason to go Lt's is if you have either the $$ or plans to further build the motor up (more bolt-on's/cam/heads, etc.) Otherwise the Macs will do you just fine.

I paid $200 for everything headers/ory used......I got 18hp/18tq untuned on Mustang dyno and dropped .3 with em. They make good power and you don't have scraping and banging issue's with em.

even mac mids will get you in trouble with smog in Cali. If you are going to go through the trouble of headers, LT's. You can't relocate the cats and mids will still do that. Most LT designs don't scrape. As far as I know, only the SLP longtubes hang low, every other LT header on the market are no lower and probably are even better for clearance than stock.
