Gains from Borla Catback
I am looking at a used borla catback system.
i was originally planning on going with slp loudmouth 1 as i like the loud crazy sound and it supposedly flows really well.
how does the borla flow in comparison? it seems to sound real nice hearing some clips.
thanks

Except for one or two instances they all flow the SAME.
At least from a stock or near stock LS1 setup point of view.
Buy on price, look, sound and if you want brand loyalty.
If you plan on 500rwhp+ then you might want to reconsider and narrow it down to a few more select setups, but chances are there's a lot more to worry about before you reach that level.

If I were going to spend that much I would go with a Corsa as well. B&B has a nice catback as well. That being said I think your money can be better spent.
I got my full exhaust for under $900 from speedtweekerz and you can add a cut out for when you want to be loud.
I love my setup as my Hooker catback is quiet when I need it to be and my electric cut out is loud when I want it to be. The best of both worlds

Well, I could get the used (but in great shape) Borla system for 350 installed ( I don't have a lift, only a couple ramps). So that seems fairly tempting as it is.
My other option is 390 for the loudmouth, then just suck it up and do the install myself using my ramps and spare tire jacks!
