Default Symptoms for running way too rich?

Less than two weeks ago, my SES light came on and I scanned it. Turned out to be a bad bank 1 oxygen sensor 1. I replaced it with another AC Delco oxygen sensor and after a short while, the light disappeared.

Yesterday the light came back on and I cleared it just to see if the light will come back on in the coming days. Today, the car has been running like crap. At idle, I can smell a lot of fuel and I think I'm getting horrible MPG (needle has been dropping quickly). The car also seems to be hunting for an idle and when shifting, the engine speed drops quicker than normal.

Am I running way too rich?

What's your mods, running rich will foul the plugs which will cause it to miss, dump out fuel and cause it to go rich even further, because the charge not only consists of fuel but also o2, the ecu thinks it's too lean and goes richer

small possibility but it could have been a bad o2 you put in causing all that to go bad again, but other than that on the top side everything is regulated and computer controlled and the computer decides how much air/fuel to put in depending on your MAF, and o2's
the light said it was the same o2 that was bad?

Check the wiring leading up to the sensor to be sure none of it is frayed, melted.. etc.. etc.. it could also be an exhaust leak letting air into the exhaust before the cat. I doubt its a bad cat.. both those codes are for sensor 1 which is before the cat. if it was a bad cat they would be sensor 2 codes.
