Default Need serious tune 406 Stroker

I need to find a great place to get a tune for my car. I have a 406 LS2 stroker H/C/I in a G35 Infiniti and the tune is completely off. It switches to open loop in the middle of driving on the interstate. I've done all the work engine wise but dont feel like learning HP tuners and what not. I need someone who knows what they are doing. The car has been tuned before but there were issues. I'm just ready to get my can finished. Please list any and all professional shops you know around New Orleans.

I recommend Geoff@EPS. I have sent cars to him that had bad off tunes and cars that were hard to start and he cleaned them right up. I even sent him a few cars with locked pcm's and he unlocked them to to tune them. Just give him a call or email him

Its been a while but car is good. Stroked it with callies internals, malhe pistons, I have a 239/247 113 cam ordered and LS3 250cc Heads coming for it. L76 Intake. Should put down some really good numbers. We are also milling the heads down to get the CR to 11. Hoping for 560 RWHP. I also went to the track and killed my rear end leaving at 2500. Snapped both rear axles.

What cc is your piston if you have to shave the LS3 head? A -3 cc dish with a .051 gasket will get you 11:1 with a 70cc chamber.

Shaving the head down to 62cc and Scoggin Dickey sells a Cometic gasket that is .040 thick and that will net you 11.07:1

Is Geoff Thunder racing or someone else? 240LS I havent seen you out I was at miss goldies the other night. Not in town to much but do drive by when I get a chance. Yeah While I was at the track there was a 350 with slicks who said I could use them if I wanted to make a pass. I told him let me see if I rip the rear out on the first pass. Didn't rip it out but axles were toast. Didn't need slicks, lol. Left the line at 2500 and she took off hard then broke.

I'm wanting to use the 250cc LS3 heads and mill them down with a .40 gasket. I'm still in the learning process but Texas Speed has been very helpful with helping me get what I am trying to accomplish. New cam on its way and hopefully new heads.

I've had a bad string of breaking stuff, fuel cell was leaking in Nov, then my shifter mysteriously got stuck in fourth one day let it sit for a couple of days then came right out, haven't put it back in fourth, might be time for a tick performance rebuild, and then I sheared the pinion off the rear end, scared the crap out of me, same thing borrowed some slicks rolled out the first pass, grew some ***** and dumped it at 3000, then boom. but my cousin said he saw your car out there at goldies.

EPS is close by thunder, on merchant road, off excaliber, off industriplex. Thunder used to send cars to Geoff even though they seperated but now thunder uses their tuner guy, mike I think is his name, too new for me to hand over my car with my blood sweat and tears in it.

U talking about the PRC 250 ls3 heads? Seen GOOD GOOD numbers hp/tq from those. How much u selling the ported ls6s for? Is the 239/247 from comp(from there LSR lobe collection) or custom. Thats a good cam. Ask me how i know. lol

Not sure if its coming from their lsr line but comp is cutting it. 239/247 .624/.624 113+1. I'm looking for 1400 for the heads, less than 300 miles on them with 650 springs, stainless valves, tit ret. No leaks and in perfect condition. I lost a lot of power and have a lot of cylinder pressure with the stroker and 231/236 cam in it with those heads. So whats the word on the cam? And yes I've heard very good things about those heads.

LS6 Heads Stg 2.5 PRC with more porting done and tested no leaks. Don't know the Chamber cc.
