This is what I've been doing for the past hour or so. Cleaning and painting my rear. Took some shots of all my other additions:

Hey I ate me one o' those newer V6 Maximas... think they pushin' over 300... anyways it was fucked up cuz it was a husband/dad, wife in front pass. seat, and kid in a carseat in the backseat. He kept hittin' it and lettin' off, and the wife was laughing for some reason, so... kid in the back or not, I launched on his last little jump. He just hung out behind me in traffic after that. Jesus, I'd NEVER run 'em if I had my own kid in the backseat, ya know? Dumbass people.

Jesus dude, I'm goddamn jealous. That a new rear end ???
What's that driveshaft made out of? Hilton could potentially learn a lil' something from that purchase

Yeah, new rear housing with axles, used aluminum center, and a 3.5" aluminum shaft with a lifetime guarantee rated at 1000hp (room to grow I guess lol)

All that plus a few other things put a dent in the wallet, so it might be end of next month before the cam install. I got some prothane motor mounts, oil pan gasket, rod bolts, new plugs, 10.4mm wires, and all the rearend stuff I'm gonna install all at once. Gonna use my dad's shop for the rear since he has a two post lift.

I don't know how much those maximas put out. I wouldn't think 300hp, but who knows these days. Good kill either way.

Looks good. Have fun with the parking brake assembly. Who is gonna press your axle bearings? My 9" didnt fit worth a damn. The parking brake brackets wouldnt fit on the housing, and the panhard rod wouldnt slide into it either. Hope yours was better than mine

My uncle owns the NAPA car center on Mansfield road by the old Albertson's. He's gonna press them on and set up my gears. I have 3.50's in the center right now that I think I'll keep to put in a another center to have during the off season.

Well, i had a hard time with the parking brake. And, right now i dont have one. I actually have a spair setup of another totalled t/a. Just the way the thing is set up. The caliper bracket is what retains the axle. And with the bolts they give you its hard to grab any amount of the bolt with the parking brake setup in the way. The reluctor rings are in the way, so its hard to use a longer bolt. I could have kept the brake, but would not grab enough of the nut the bolt goes to. Seemed to me like i could keep the brake and not grab much of the nut, and possibly have the axle fall out while going down the road. Or ditch the brake and be sure. I put it in and havent went back to fix since. I just throw it in 1st when i park. Seems like a 3 channel car would have an easier time than i did. Oh, and for god sake make sure you have the caliper bracket on the axle before the bearings are pressed. I tried to have that driveshaft place on grimmit do it, made 3 trips there and back cause they wouldnt do it. They said there would be no way to get to the bolt if i did it that way. Funny thing is they were partly right. I brought it to P.A.T.C in bossier and the guy knew exactly what i was talking about. Not sure if it matters, but there is a right and left axle(different lengths) but i am not sure if the caliper brackets can be used on either side of the car. I just labled everything to make sure when i had them pressed.
