New 243 Cylinder Head Option
Hey Everyone, I just wanted to let you know we are now offering a killer option for your stock 243 cylinder heads, the LS6 "Street Smart" port. We are getting them from Brett at LandSpeed Development, LLC. A little background, he specializes in Gen 3/4 ported cylinder heads and intake manifolds and has been porting and developing cylinder heads for the last 14 years working for several of the top LS1 race shops in the country (Katech//MTI).
The "Street Smart " intake port consists of a 5-angle int. valve job, a modified Manley 2.02" valve, a properly sized intake throat, and deep bowl and guide boss porting (**215cc**). The exhaust is fully ported and flows 220 cfm.
The purpose of this port is to create a very efficient, torque monster type of engine with great throttle response and drivability for a very economical price. This type of port would be best suited for the guy that is interested in a heads cam set-up for street/strip usage with a stock displacement LS1/LS2/LS6 engine with a factory LS6 manifold. I have listed the flow numbers below compared to the fully CNC ported LS6 GMPP heads. Keep in mind that the "Street Smart " port is 35cc's smaller!!!

Now the details, you supply us with your 243 heads, complete. We send them off, Brett does the porting which will be $850. You will need to get 2.02” Intakes and 1.575” Exhaust valves, we can do these complete with valves for $1150.
This is very open for options, so keep that in mind. Springs are your choice.
