Question Bucks badly on the spray

Im running a HSW single nozzle dry kit jetted to a 150 hit. I wanted to see if anyone else ever had a problem with their car bucking really bad on the intial activation. I was at the track on friday and 3 time off the start the car would buck badly as soon as the nitrous would turn on. I would only do it for about a second then the car would take off down the track. This is the first time the car has ever really done this, I've run about 9 or 10 bottle through the car so far. I run TR6 plugs. I havent had a chance to pull the plugs out to see what they look like but I only have about 8k miles on them. Anyone have any ideas?

It could be multiple issues. Here are my ideas.
1. Relay
2. Ground to Solenoids
3. Weak Battery
4. Too much gap in plugs or worn plugs.

Im at work right now so I only had time to pull one plug, but the one plug I pulled out is black and smells of fuel. Would that cause a hesitation on nitrous?

I ran a 10.61 on a 200hp shot and ran a 10.62 on a 250hp shot. Unfortunately the 250 shot made the tranny start slipping in 3rd gear. My raceweight is 3540.

It definitetly will. What do you have them gapped at? What kit are you using and what size jets do you have in it? Last thing, what bottle pressure are you running?

I had my TR6 plugs gapped at .035, I'm running the HSW single nozzle dry kit. For fuel, I have racetronix 42lb injectors and a walbro 255L intank pump. The car seems to run alittle fat n/a even after it had it tuned.

Well if the plugs look bad, change them. Once they get the glaze over them, they're junk. Also, take a look at all of your wires, especially any that are in an area that are easily chaffed. Also, two other questions, are you running a FPSS? And are you running any controllers or window switches? Thanks!

Nick
