Default Buying nitrous...Lots of questions

I am planning on buying a nitrous setup around income tax time. I am going to start with a 75 shot and work my way up to 150 one day. I do have questions though,

1. What setup should I go with?

2. Is my car going to have to be retuned, and if so, will it run right off the bottle?

3. Will I need to change anything like trans, rear-end, etc.?

4. Is it going to tear my car up?

5. I know I want a remote bottle opener, and bottle heater, and a purge, but is there anything else I need?

Any advice would help guys. Thanks.

Well i have the average bolt-ons and am going to have it dyno tuned before I buy nitrous. I just don't know practically anything about nitrous setups or jetting or tuning or anything. I am new at n20.

1. Go wet, dynotune makes great kits and has great customer service.
2. Check the A/F on the dyno and go from there
3. Don't know with an A4 trans, I had a M6.
4. It won't if you do everything correctly.
5. You want a window switch, and a FPSS.

Window switch will turn the nitrous on and off at preset RPM's. A FPSS will shut off your nitrous if the fuel pressure drops to an unsafe level. We currently have our wet kit on sale for $299 add a FPSS and a window switch and you are up to $450 but you have a kit ready to go!

I would also look at adding a bottle heater - That would run an additional $89

Give us a ring or drop us an email we would be glad to help!

Like suggested above talking directly with someone that can give you precise answers to your questions would be very benificial for you. It will save you time from reading and the confusion you get from different contradicting answers from different people. Feel free to give us a call for some knowledgable direction. We have a toll free number 1-866-648-7637. Talk to one of our techs for some one on one conversation.
