The tr224 ground on a 114 works good on nitrous for a street car but with you stating the vindicator and such I would think you want something bigger. Get something ground with a wider lsa it will run better on the spray and give a better idle for a daily driver.

Send Patrick G or predator z a pm and see if they can spec you something

Anything with a healthy split should work fine...You really don't need a dedicated nitrous cam for anything below a 200 shot. Pick a cam based on what you want NA and the nitrous will just compliment it

We have sprayed up to 200 on a Vindicator cam with EXCELLENT results. As said above anything under 200HP really doesnt involve custom cam selection.

well i had looked at a trex cam a while back even though it is to big for my application . i was told it did'nt do very well with n20. is the vendicator a good street daily cam ? i want all the performance i can get in a street driven car. gas milage is not to big of a deal but is a factor. dont want to stick it in there and then it get like 12mpg . or do any of you reccommend another cam.

I would recommend the cam that me and my father both run wich is a Comp 224/228 581/588 on a 114......The cam was in the car when it was my daily has awesome everyday drivability and i also picked up 40rwhp after the cam install.......

G/l on your cam choice.......

if your looking for a good cam for street duty i wouldnt go with anything too big. I think the 224/228 cam noted above would work well. Biggest i would go is the TSP 233/239. I wouldnt worry to much about having an aggressive cam that will make a lot of NA power. You can always up the jet a size to make up the difference. Give texas speed a call or have Patrick G spec you a cam.

Im somewhat confused by our original post..you say you want to be as close to 400rwhp through an M6 as possible but in your original post you say you have a th350 and a 3k stall..so what application is this going to be used in..b/c if its the th350 then your gas mileage is going to suffer..but as far as a cam i would think something in the 224/228 with 113 or higher ls would work

never tested that cam. We did a 233/239 on a 112 on my car, put down 415 rwhp with Kooks 1 7/8 headers, ORY, magnaflow catback, LS6 intake, P&P TB.

Here's customer car that put down very similar numbers on the same cam

Here is the Vindicator which Ron@vengence noted above, also a good nitrous cam.

Also do you have someone to tune the car when you get the cam you have selected? if you go with that size of a cam you will have to have someone tune it. Also do not do a mail order tune thru a company. I have heard too many horror stories.
As far as a can I went with a ms3 from texas speed. on NA my car went 11.1 full raceweight car air condition and all. with spray it went 10.1 w a 200 shoot. but I have a set of custom heads and suspension all this comes into play when you pick a cam. Also depends on what your future goal is. If I was you I would save my money and get a set of heads and cam together then you might as well put a double rollar timing chain. and ported oil pump since you are in there and have the car apart.
Look at your budget.

here is my goal for the most part ! i want to run 11.5's - 11.9's motor 10's on juice in a street car. i know a guy that has a set of afr heads for sale i keep thinking about buying. i will not put them on the car i'll just build the the motor and have a complete motor ready to drop in my car. i'll also be honest i will at one point out some sort of blower ( pro charger - turbo) so the motor will be a lower compression. for a no hassle easy to install either .

RON can hook you up since you live close to there that is what I would go with. Like I said before depends on your own personal goal all I can say is dont go with a small cam then regret it for your plans. Also is this your daily driver. if so then stick with a streetable cam.

I have the 233/239 cam as well. its so sweet. im so attached to it, i think i would only go bigger if i changed. i spray it with a 125 shot, soon to be with nano, so we will see what happens. the car put down like 375hp without a proper tune. proper tune and nano after christmas i hope.
