Vindicator + nitrous
hey guys..so Im looking at picking up the 575hp package from ron and the fellas at vengenace, but I would like to hear from first hand experience about the way this cam responds to nitrous..I've seen a few threads about the cam in an auto..but IM an M6 guy with 4.11 gears..looking for any input from someone or anyone running from a 100 to 200 shot..my car is a 2002 camaro ss with 107k miles full bolt on car. but like I said i'll be getting the 575package probably for christmas or tax season..thanks guys

i'll probably go with +2
yeah thanks guys..Im sure with the nitrous that I could run more than 200 and it would respond well..I think what I was trying to get was just a first hand account of the way people with the vindicator responds to the hit..but any insight is more than welcome

I have that cam and on a 150 shot on stock heads and going through a 9in rear i put down 555rwhp. cam seemed to like it just fine and if i pushed the limits and did a cool down run i could have gotten more out of it. Its jetted pretty safe.

upper 600s with a good set of heads and the vindicator cam with a 150 shot i have a feeling your looking more likely low 600s and mid to high on 200 shot but then your looking at the breaking point of a stock 347 bottom end.I prob would have put down 15-20 more on stock 10bolt and little playing with my tune but i have learned that peak dyno numbers mean almost nothing if your making a car that runs good and lasts at the track.

well the 575package is close to the 500rwhp mark..so say that plus a 150 hit and we are talking about or around 650rwhp hit the 200 and close to 700..so like I said upper 600's and this is going to be going on a forged 347..not a stock block..sorry should've mentioned that..and the driveline will be supported as well

yeah I hear everyone and I've done some pretty good searching on that package..Im not expecting a solid 500rwhp, and would be happy with anything in the 470-490 range..Im also bumping the compression up so that should help but we will see whent its all done, and that package is heads/cam plus every bolt on, which for the most part I already have

yeah the bench racing and dyno guessing def took over and I had my part in that..but my original idea for this thread was to see any M6 guys running this setup or close to that were spraying up to a 200 shot and how it felt or responded with the nitrous hit..Im not crazed over the numbers on the dyno, but a ball park is a good idea to have going in. thanks guys for keeping me inline lol
