Question dry kit on automatic vs wet kit on 6spd?

I had a 2000 Z28 6spd. It had a NX wet kit,longtubes,ory, 4:10's,and lid/filter.
when I would spray a 100 shot it would hit so hard. But now on my 2000 TA automatic with 3600 stall, longtubes,ory,lid/filter and a 150 dry shot it doesn't seem to hit half as hard. It's all working correctly had tuned twice and dynoed. the numbers are all there.

any ideas do wet kits just hit harder.. or what? oh and the gears didn't matter either because I took them out and only felt a slight difference when on the spray.

A lot of what you're feeling could have to do with other outside factors with the kit rather than dry vs. wet. Thing such as line length, window switch settings, and the fact that its an auto vs. a 6speed will all play roles in how its "felt". Have you ever taken either cars to the track? I know there were other mods done to each car, but just looking at the gains when spraying can give you a ballpark idea of what's going on.

also..your high stall torque converter softens the feel of the hit.
your rpms will jump a few hundred and you'll feel the car pull harder, but it won't feel like you got hit by a truck. it should feel like you're drafting off a black hole .
