383 lt1 on da bottle for 1st time

Default 383 lt1 on da bottle for 1st time

Well guys i got a forged 383 w a set of trickflow gen x heads,847 cam,42lb injectors,and pretty much all the supporting boltons....im still on the stock fuel pump and thinkin of sparying 100shot...my ? is will i be ok to spary this while on the stock fuel pump...i was hopeing to get mid 11s out of her on motor and brake into the 10s on the bottle...can u guys point me in the right way this will be my first time using nitrous.

I would suggest against spraying on the stock pump. They are cheap and it's not worth the chance of going lean to see if the stocker might keep up.

What he said. A 255 LPH pump can be had for about 150 dollars or less. Cheap insurance if you ask me.

fuel pressure and/or AFR shut down switch (sofething like on the HSW microedge) would be a good idea, just for some safety

I actually a little suprised you don't already have a 255 LPH pump with that 383 you are running. You are probably pushing that pump on motor alone.

If I were you I wouldn't even think about spraying it until you get a bigger in tank. Just my .02

yea the motor should be starting up here in the next couple of weeks...i was thinkin of buying the 255 walbro here shortly

Yup,

I would definitely upgrade the fuel pump and don't forget a hotwire kit.
