stuck solenoid? HSW kit
ok guys, just wired up my n20 install on my install, this is on the second motor I have done this kit on. Im getting fuel to my plate (put a coke bottle to hold fuel) I cut the power wire to my solenoid, and its still allowing fuel to my plate. Any ideas?

no it was too late in the day, how about pics of the install in my v6 car, everything is the same (solenoids and whatnot)
if the solenoid is backwards, I might not of caught it, b/c the HSW emblem (body of the noid) swivels aound.
little blurry (n20 noids)

Use a pressurized source of fuel and see how much is making it past... Solenoids are simple to rebuild or check to see if something is binding the piston or there is junk on the seat....
All the solenoids work as normally closed, when you give it 12+ and ground, it activates an electromagnet that pulls the piston up allowing flow, if there is junk like excess thread sealant (you did not use teflon tape right?) or other stuff it can cause the piston to bind or not to seal on the seat.

There is no Teflon tape around the solenoid or fpss. There is Teflon tape on the fuel rail, and fp sensor, and the 90* bend off the fuel rail. Other than that fuel solenoid hasn't been touched since it was on the sixxer.

You can verify if its hooked up correctly by checking the markings on the solenoid. There should be an IN and a OUT stamped on the stainless base. If its plummed backwards, it will let the fuel flow right past. Also, if there is any debris on the plunger, it can allow the seal to not seat completely on the base.
I can send you a step by step process to open the solenoid if you would like to inspect the seal. Or if you dont feel comfortable doing so, feel free to send it back to us for inspection and testing. Thanks!
