Default should i be worried about spraying a 98 ss

I have a 98 ss with 126k on it. I hear people saying that the 98s cant take as much abuse. So should i be worried about spraying it with a 100 shot. she is not using any oil and she fills like she pulls hard and smooth. Looking at the nitrous express kit probally the wet kit still havent decided for sure.

people say a lot of stupid unfounded stuff when it comes to nitrous (like dry is safer for example) have you heard any reasons why that year and basically suspension and trim package cant take as much? If there is a specific concern we can definatly look into that but if not probably just someone who doesnt know anything about n2o spoutin off

100 shot will be perfectly fine.

Don't forget to change the plugs and get all the extras with your nitrous kit.

Anything else done, or just spray.

As long as everything is in good mechanical condition, you'll be fine.

He's probably asking about a 98 b/c they are supposed to have weaker rod bolts than other years and may run the risk of spinnin a bearing. You can see the mods in my sig even with the ms4 in my car for 3k miles now its held up just fine. I put a 75 shot on just to beat my buddies blown and stroked fox mixed a little race gas in to prevent detonation and just sprayed away. I will be looking at going up to a 150 shot if the heads dont lift otherwise ill stick with a 100 shot. As stated earlier if everything is in good mechanical order you will be fine with the proper safety equip. in your kit.

The 98 will take up to a 150 on a stock motor just fine. I would take into concideration how well maintenced the car has been. If it does not burn oil you are probably fine. You can do a compression test and leak down test as well.
