Default dual .48 jets on dry plate

i ordered some .048 jets for my dry plate with in the interface. the 44's are set at a 150 shot what should i start with on the interface. also i was gonna turn up the bottle pressure some to aprox 1000
the .44 gave me 110 whp and 140 wtq at aprox 950 psi.

A Nitrous jet size of .048" or 1.2192mm should produce:
208.10 HP with 2 port(s)

Actual HP to the wheels: 176.88 HP

Rasing the pressure up wont make anymore HP, keep it at 950 and you will get less bottle drop.

My calculations show dual .048s to be 150rwhp with 950psi, and about 175hp at crank. So you set your Interface for your size hit, pretty easy. Then dial in the Interface in 5hp steps up or down to get the exact a/f ratio you want.

The dual .044s should be about 125rwhp, and you got 110, but state your bottle pressure was low and that sounds right. Also you need to be checking your a/f ratio to dial it in correctly. A lot of times the Interface will error on the rich side for safety and another reason power will be down a bit.

You can't be using different bottle pressures and expect correct results, sounds like NANO is in order, or at the minimum a bottle heater (I have a used complete set-up if your looking). Then your will set your system (with NANO) for 1050psi static and 950psi dynamic.

ATV, that was always a trick of mine on the dry hits, raise the pressure for a larger hit with out changing jets. You will flow more through the same jet.

You stated in your first post ypou were going to raise your pressure up (like you had not heated your bottle up?), so are your results here with or without a correct bottle pressure? It makes a difference. Just look at your math, if your off by 35/40 hp with the current set-up, then you would need to set the Interface up higher than the .048s setting of 150 by the same approx amount, right?

That will be the easiest way of going about it. Fee free to get a hold of one of us if you have any questions along the way. Thanks.

Yea a good starting place. The thing is, every car is different and whether it's NANO or HSW making a starting rec for jetting, that is what it is, a rec. that's why all systems need to be verified with a WB to dial in exactly what is wanted.

here's one of the best examples i have seen and know about. the C5 Z06 comes from the factory with a rich low 11.x a/f ratio, then once it's tuned (still stock also), it's often in the high 12s or low 13s. So you can see the instant differences between one customer and another. Now the companies try to suggest a jetting that will be OK with both extremes, lean/rich and thus the reason we see such variables in the a/f from one set-up to the other. The same thing applies for hp and any given results per the same jetting, so many variables out there. I always say, jet to the desired HP and then set a/f to the desired ratio.

it went 126 with it at a 110 rwhp and 140 rwtq. i just added a ftra, fast toys lid and a 85mm maf, swaped out the truetrack for a full spool, and installed a umi torque arm relocation kit. with these new parts and .48 jets i hope to hit my goal of 130+ traps. think i can?
