The heads will make it sit a little higher but you get the jist of it.

Just changing the top end (heads and intake)

The intake is heading off to Jeff Prock for a few guns.

also mini tubbed the car and got 200lbs. out of it.

Have a Joe van O. hood on the way thanks to Kurt Urban.

Set up is going to be...
Performance Induction C5R heads, LX intake, big solid roller
Iron Block (3.9 crank)
3200lbs.
Dana 60
Glide
FAST XFI
2 or 3 kits (400- 500hp N20)
Madman susp.
tryin to get it done on a 275.

We have a few local 275 classes that we can be competitive in so we are gonna do it big on the little tires.

Its not crazy like the west coast class.

SB get 2 stages - 3100lbs
BB get 1 stage - 3300 lbs
Blowers limited to f1R or equal - 3300lbs
turbo limited to single true 88mm - 3400lbs

5.5 - 5.2 should be in the mix (all 1/8th mile)
we are hoping to go 5.4 or so, went 5.71 @ 124mph last year with a weak 1.40 60' time.

With 2 kits car should EASILY bust down into the 30s once the suspension is dialed in.

Looks killer, and you're doing all the right stuff to get where ya want to be that's for sure.

Only problem is, that there will be a 4.99 pass in that class this year by someone before the season is done, hell I bet by the end of june the final's are gonna be cars in the 5.1x range, which is exactly why I threw the towel in on that. Back to planning for 8.50 index.

Good luck with it, you've got a killer setup, with a big enough axe on the tree you stand a chance to do well.
