Default Can I dyno like this? N2O shot on a h/c car...10 bolt..

Hey guys,

I'm concerned. I intend to be putting out a little bit over 400 rwhp after my heads/cam install, and intend to put a 100 shot on, also. I will have a new clutch, but stock rear, stock driveshaft, and stock fuel system. Will they hold from the dyno runs? Obviously, i'm going to be tuning with a wideband, but I wanted to make srue that for the 3+ runs we do on the dyno w/ the n2o on, I'm not going to destroy my fuel pump, injectors, driveshaft, or rear. I believe my rear will hold up (or at least I hope), but I don't know about the capacities of the fuel system. My car is a 2001. Basically, i'd like to know if 500 rwhp will be alright for a few runs on the stock fuel system and stock rear/driveshaft. After that, I won't spray it until I can get a 12 bolt and a new fuel system, but for the tuning..it will go as is. If you have an answer and you can't PM me or post because of the board going down tonight, please email me at wwhite@mailcity.com - I appreciate your help!

Mike

I tuned my car with the stock rearend at 550rwhp and 640rwtq but I also upgrade my fuel pump to a 340 intank.

5 days later my rings went out so be careful.

your rear should be fine on the dyno. You may run out of fuel on the spray. Just watch the a/f ratio and get off spray if it leans out.
