Default not an LS1 but if you want the best go NX

we just dynod my car at nitro daves performance in waco and with my holley efi plate set for 100 hp. i picked up 180 hp to the wheels. Nitrous express is truly the best nitrous company i have ever seen. BadHabitBird. we made 565hp and 642 ft lbs torque at 4200 rpm before it whitesmoked my tires and we shut it down.it picked up 244 ft lbs of torque. and was as smoth as a babys butt. I wish i colder plugs i was wishing for 600hp but only expected 500.

I was wondering the same thing...... Glad ya are happy with your results, but it doesnt mean ya have to get on your knees for Nitro Dave

BTW, have ya ever had a TNT kit on your car? I made OVER 300 ft lbs of torque to the tires on a TNT 100 shot on my old set up.

Would someone explain to me how 180 RWHP is a called a "100" shot? That's more like a 210 HP shot.

So which is it? Holley or NX?

BTW, I have NEVER seen a car making 500/600 "whitesmoke" the tires on any dyno.

I agree with Colonel here, if it makes 180 rwhp it's more like a ~180+ shot. Just because they rate it lower then it really is doesn't make it any better. Kind of like that TNT craze where people hop up and down about gaining 150rwhp on a 100 shot, weird!

Personally I would like it to be as close to 100 hp as possible when the jets are supposed to be 100 hp. If I want 150 I will put in 150 sized jets(150 shot). That extra 80 HP could be a bad thing to the wrong person/car pushing the limit with a 100 shot(H/C car with some extras on a stock bottom end). But thats just me.

Steve was giving the wrong pill patern. The patern he was giving was for a stock car with 40psi fuel pressure. His car has 55 psi.The shot he actually has in his car is about a 160 shot.I think he jumped the gun posting here but he was excited about his numbers.I knew something was wrong with the jetting when he made that much of a gain. However some cars respond to N20 alittle better than others. His set up flos really well and loves nitrous.Guys keep in mind when you change fuel pressures or anything else for that matter it will change your N2o set up.Steve is lucky he was on the Dyno. With the wrong pill patern it could have been ugly.As for geting unseen gains is not a good thing. If you install a 150 shot and get 200.It is a 200 shot not a 150 shot. The orfice size of the pill is what determins what shot it is.Just because the manafacture says its a 100 shot does not mean it is.Some comanys use more N20 and less fuel than other companys to make there kits seem like there kits put out more power.Think about it.

That is the best read thread i have seen on the internet in a LONG time.

I'vew always heard the TNT guys be like, i got 175 rwhp on a 100 shot, and are happy with that.

If i want a 100 shot, i want the kit to add 100 hp

if it adds 175 hp, and i don't have the tuning, and fuel system to handle it, and my motor blows at the kit company
