Default Whats the best direct port system out there??

I might go N/A with my 6.0L 372c.i. iron block motor, I currently have it setup for a blower, but a head change will solve that problem, probably going to go with a set of Stage 2 LS6's, the pistons already have valve reliefs in it, you can see a pic of the motor in my webshots page....I will probably run a 240/250 .610/.620 112lsa cam, I don't want to rev the motor too high, but I think this cam will peak around 6500ish...some say I should go solid roller, but I'm not thrilled about sprayin it past 7000 on the gun...

I want to put a direct port on it, probably run a 200 shot, I already have aftermarket speed inc. high flow fuel rails w/braided lines, I will get upgraded to twin 340 walbros in the tank, I have the CAS regulator and the hot wire kit, I currently have 42.5LB injectors, and will keep those in, the car will run on 100 octane all the time....whats the best direct port??

I want to run all the goodies too, like automatic bottle opener, bottle heater, etc, I want it to be on command type of stuff....

I have run a TNT kit on my car before, but busted the valves before I got to spray it....

This is my future option if my blower deal doesn't work out this week...

Its a preference choice. NOS has a nice sportsman direct port kit for a good price. NX also has one and so does TNT

I think the TNT F4 is around 900 bucks. You have to have a dedicated fuel for it, and you have to plumb your intake.

I really like the Plug and Play Setups like The Noszle and the NXL. Although I've heard bad things about each. I would look at what the fastest cars are running and use that.

If you already have different fuel rails the NXL kit might not be compatible. If thats the case, TNT F4 all the way

ARE ran a TNT I do believe

East Side Performance Ran a Noszle.

I will probably go with a Noszle kit, it's plug and play and easy to install. Seems to be proven too.

$900 for the direct port is nice, does that come with everything you need like bottle, etc...I know I would need to get a window switch, heater, and FT switch, purge....

I would pay the $75 to upgrade to a 15lb bottle...

Does anyone have pics of the TNT direct port installed on an LS1?

You would need a Dedicated Fuel System to run the TNT Direct Port.

You'd need a fuel cell, fuel Lines, Fuel Pump.

I'll find some pics give me a sec...

So I would need a complete different fuel setup other than the one thats supplying the motor....

Hmmm...

Does this apply to the Nozle kit too?

Yea you'd need a whole new fuel system I do believe.

The Noszle is a plug and play system, you don't need a dedicated fuel for it.

So I could run a 93 octane setup for my all motor setup, and then when I wanted to spray I could have a seperate 1 gallon fuel cell with 100 octane in it, with its own fuel pump to supply the kit?

Yea you could do that, run 93 in the tank and 100 in cell.

Here is a link to the best step by step setup of a Dedicated Fuel system I've seen for an LS1 car.

Thats looks like a pretty clean install, I'm sure I could have a local shop do something similar, what did that cell hold after it was cut down?

I would guess it was 1/2 gallon after cutting. Way more than enough. You can make several passes on that. I would estimate $1600-$1800 for parts to complete everything if you go with a separate sump for the bottle. I ran 104 in the sump.

Nitrous Outlet (sponsor) cut me a good deal on everything. Just realize, the jetting supplied is not accurate for our motors. Check with EVIL for the jetting sizes if you run the NX stuff.

The cool thing about a separate N2O sump is you can regualte the air/fuel just by adjusting the fuel pressure from the sump. You want richer, increase the pressure a bit.
