Had fun today......not.
Went to get my bottle filled and halfway thru the fill the blow off cap blew. Sent the bottle off the shelf and spinning across the floor. This all occured in a small room away from customers but I would've imagined that common sense would of kicked in and they install a cage for these things. Well now my bottle is all scratched up and it bent the valve and also bent the manifold. So now the shop needs a new full tank and I need some new parts to my bottle. Can you just purchase the turn valve on top of the bottle?

Wow, That does suck. There are a couple of things that can cause the disk to rupture. Either the NHRA fitting was over tightened when installed or the company over filled the bottle. If they were running out of nitrous they may have been pumping hot air and building to much pressure in the bottle.
Off the top of my head the replacement valve is in the 30.00 range and we have some chrome manifolds on clearence for CHEAP...
Let me know if I can help.

That definitely sucks, man. I just installed a blowdown tube on my bottle, and I noticed how clear they were on not over tightening the fitting. Not saying that's what happened in your case, just something I noticed.

Well im not too sure on the install. It was install months ago and this is the 3rd fill-up on this bottle. I think if it was a problem with the install it would of happened awhile ago. And the guy just walked outta the room and stated in only had 600 psi during the fillup when it blew when he shut the door.
