Default Quality of "brand X"

How is it? I am looking at a wet kit but it looks to be cheaper than some other kits out there and has me a little concerned.

Yep I use the brand x wet kit and it has worked very well for me... and I think if I remember correctly.. Its not cheap because it not very good quality, because it is very good quality.. I think it’s just because the selinoids don’t have allot off room for upgrade, the biggest shot is a 150.....

the Brand X kit will do 200hp you just need to upgrade to an SHO nitrous line from the soleniod to the nozzle. The -3AN hose maxes out at 175hp.
The hose pictured is with blue fittings but we can do them in black and red also.

I have a kit on my iroc and i love it, ran 8.5x to an 8.6x on the 100 jets with little traction. quality is just as good if not better than most of the NOS nozzles i see at the track. killer product at a great price, couldn't be any happier

This is the LS1 single nozzle kit, so it comes with jetting for LS1 fuel pressure(60psi). We have LS1 and LT1 specific kits with jetting according to each engines running fuel pressure. This kit comes with less jetting and the nozzle and soleniods will do 200hp with an SHO nitrous hose.

This is a single nozzle kit for GM EFI in general. It comes with jetting for 45 and 60psi systems. The nozzle flows up to 250hp(w/ SHO) and the soleniods are good to 400hp.

Thanks, theres a lot to learn when first getting in to this. So the first kit would be good enough since I dont plan on going higher than 150.

well that's going to save me a little money then. where can I order the 200hp jets for my brand X kit?

that was the only thing I didn't like about the kit. Other than that everything is great. Love the little solenoids too as they are easier to hide.

What was wrong with them and what is the name on the order? This way I can look it up to see what the issue was. We sell alot of Brand X systems and to be honest with you we have only warrentied maybe 3 solenoids in 2 years. We have had some sent back over time and everyone of them had trash under the piston from the installer over tightning the solenoid fitting and crushing the screen. Doing so casued screen material to get under the piston.

Thanks Dave,
Nice to see someone stick by their product. You already resolved one with a replacement solenoid, thank you. The other I acquired 2nd hand, and would not ask for a replacement. I'll examine the one I have to see if debri was the cause of the failure. I'll PM you with the findings if it looks like it was a manufacturing related defect.

Alright back from the dead, going with this kit what else am I going to need? Car just has bolt ons so I think the stock fuel pump should be ok with 100-125 shot.

http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...roduct_id=2891

I need this:
-Pressue gauge to mount to bottle
-Nitrous filter
-TR6 plugs
-Spare tire mount
-Window switch

Everything else I will need comes with that kit right?
