Default nano question

How do i go about filling my n20 bottle without my nano attached? what fitting needs to go in on the hose from the nano into the n20 bottle???

cus im confused that the n20 will drain out if the hose is not connected with the nano attached?

If you put everyting on that the NANO came with, the fitting you attach your NANO hose to thats screwed into the N20 bottle has a check valve in it. So, when the N20 gets pressure, it seats and no leakage occurs.

But, to play it safe, I always have the hose disconnected from the N20 bottle. That prevents any small back surge up the hose and to the NANO regulator.

no nitrous will come out of the port when you are fillin it, if the hose & nano arent connected right?

you have to have that check valve/adapter on the N20 bottle. If you have it all on right it wont... If you have it off, try blowing thru it both ways and tell me what happends.

My suggestion on unscrewing the hose was if your bottle is COMPLETELY empty, you get a small surge going back up thru the line and into the NANO regulator if the check valve doesnt seat immediatley. That can damage your regulator causing the pressure to shoot up. I know, it happened to me and it shot up to ~1400 psi. So, im telling you to simply unscrew the hose from the adapter/check valve so it wont happen to you.

No, you cant use any pipe fitting to connect the two bottles.

Its a check valve... Means it only lets things flow one way. So, rather you have the NANO hose hooked up to it or not, it wont let any N20 come out, only NANO in.
