Default New best N/A.....

1.56 60'
6.75 @ 108.5 mph
10.37 @ 137.8 mph

Likes a little more timing and fuel... the new tune up seems to be working good. :drivin:

We changed a few things and it should go as fast on 1 system as it did on both.

We'll get it figured out. ... Maybe

Gator, it likes what it likes on motor(and yes it liked more). When we turn the N20 on lower than most is what we use.

Last year it went like 11.5 @ 127 . We made some more power with carys intake and a 4 barrel up top but mainly it was just getting enough runs on the motor to find what it likes. the temp on the logger was 95 at the starting line so it will run better this fall. I also think theres another .1 in it with a few more runs to try some timming adjustments and a/f out. We only have 10 or so motor runs on it this year and mabe 8 last year. That will have ot wait until another test day when we don't hae anything better to do . Were going to mir to run a DR event thi friday so the bottles are comming with us.

We had some advantages over just starting. I used all the log files from last times motor passes to see how much fuel we needed for a given rpm/tps Since thats one of the functions we log. Jeff Proc sent us Justin Smiths file as a start and it at least showed the curve we would need than I plugged our fuling from the logs in for idle and part throttle. We wanted to see how it would do on justins WOT stuff but it didn't like it and wayne lifted but it still went an ew best. 10.66 so I used that log to add roughtly 11% fuel on avg from 3-9K above 90% throttle and that got us close and we made timming and fuel adjustments from tere. so we got it down to 10.3 in 3 Alpha N runs.

The "Fast" makes it easy though and the logs are amazing in what you can figure out . I like to look at rate of rpm change and its a good indication if it likes things at certain RPM.

I wish we could get another 10-12 motor runs at a track rental.

if push comes to shove, there's always wednesday T&T at cecil, can probably get 5-6 runs if you get there early

you can get one t&t pass before MIR qualifying too.

the real street field is gonna be very tough since its only 8 cars. I think the bump was a 5.6 2 wks ago.

rumor has it that lambert is testing and went 5.0 off the trailer then a 4.9 in testing and plans to be there friday...

At least theres the r/s eliminator too for Qualifiers 9-16

might be more than 16 cars on the property Friday

you know they let the R/S cars in before gates open...they'll let you in as early as noon. Plan on making at hit ~7PM...Q1 is at 8PM

We are only going to be on 1 kit if we can't get some test passes so we will be in the 5.7-5.9 range hopefully. we only been 6.0 on 1 kit so far.
