Default Do most peeps run the same fuel through motor/n2o system.

I'm wondering how many peeps spray different fuel through there stand along fuel system then into the motor from the tank.

I'm only going to be spraying a 250 shot on a plate kit with vic jr intake.

I'm trying to decide on putting a stand along tank on it or pull it out of the other port on my fuel cell. I run cam 2 110oct in the car.

Are you useing a stand alone or puuling out of the rear tank?

375 right now.... 450 or so by the end of the year.
We use VP N02 and we pull everything from the rear tank with a Magnafuel 625 pump.

I would say if you're already on race fuel n/a then most spray the same. For those of us with engines that run on pump fuel spraying a big shot, most run race fuel in the standalone. My engine works well on pump fuel, but I wouldn't spray it on pump fuel. I use c12 or c16 in the standalone for a big shot. I would probably be even better off running race fuel in the tank because at the very least, pump gas is inconsistant, but I drive it on the street too much.

Now that is a thought. but I would have still buy another fuel pump and reg and more line. That would still cost a lot.

My 12:1 408 on 380 shot was pump gas in the tank and c16 in the standalone.

I would not mix the gas. just run 1. put a plug in the tank to drain it if money is an issue.

Gotcha, I'll either run what I run now cam2 which is 110 leaded. Or switch to something like a VP 113 or higher grade. Now I need to decide on puting a stand alone in the front or pull it from the main tank which has two ports.

We are also using a ngk 7 plug and we have a set of 8's to test.

We've run 93 in tank and 112 or 116 in the fuel cell on multiple cars, always works great. Not everybody can afford to drive aroundon $10 fuel, and the extra safety is always nice.

With a 250 shot, I would start with the ngk 9's and go back to 8's if you can. I wouldn't even think of starting with the 7's. Think about it like this. If the plug is too cold it won't hurt anything, but if it's too hot it spells disaster.

But you could just drain the rear tank and put the 93 back in it. mixing fuel can cause some hot spots.

OP >-- if you have a cell in the rear just get 1 good pump and use 1 feed lin.e we run ours off a magnafuel 625 and a -10 feed. you can use 1 regulator and 1 -6 return

So my tank has two -8 outlets on the bottom of it. Should I run the two -8's to a Y into -10 and then into a big *** pump to a low psi reg for the carb and come off the reg to the plate?

Sounds simple. But it will be costly in parts.
