if theres no MAF will it still recalculate fuel

Well your fuel table is just that, a table. With rows and columns. If your maf is unhooked, it will only read one row of values depending on what your engine rpm is. So the answer kinda is yes, it does re-calculate for each column of rpm, but won't re-calculate for each row of air mass coming in. FWIW, I would leave the MAF on with a dry shot until you get more advanced with tuning.

well it doesnt have a maf its goin on my buddys trail blazer till i get my car back on the road he wants to see wut it will do its got a fly by wire TB though so idk

No maf = no fuel for a dry kit unless it has a diaphragm to bump fuel pressure. What car is this going on?

What year trailblazer is it? V6 or V8?I just did some googling and it looks like the I6 Trailblazers up until 2006 did not have MAF sensors but all the V8s did. If it is a V8 take a picture of your buddy's engine bay and someone here should be able to point you to the MAF sensor. It shouldn't be so hidden that you can't find it just follow all the tubing from the air box to the throttle body.

I am assuming its a trailblazer with a speed dencity tune using the stock pcm. If this is the case you should really use a wet system instead.
