Default Car dies at idle after using N20

Last night was the first night i used my n20 at that track.. Turned it on pressure was good around 1000 in the green. Went to use it and the car felt like a dog going down the track. i ran a 13.7 was running 12. 4 prior to using it that night. Ran it again .. Check engine light came on. So i drove nice slow pass down turned off the switch. Car sounded fine.. So i took another pass with n20 off ran a 12.6 then go back to the parking and the car begins to sputting when at idle then just dies. Car starts back up.. runs fine for a bit then will just die. Drove the car all the way home about 15 miles from the track when running no problems, car felt strong. just whenever i go to idle car dies after it sits for like 30 seconds... then has a weird smell to it. kinda like fuel but not to sure..

Sound like ur only getting fuel no Nitrous. Do you have a purge?

Yeah sounds like your just spraying fuel no nitrous your bottle might be empty or full of air, when you fill it up make sure you open the valve prior to filling it up and let all the air out the valve will get cold but it will be alright

already been said, but my vote is also for only runnin fuel....possibly caused a plug to be fouled if not more than just one.

Check your plugs, if they look fine its time for a compression test.

Did you bottle pressure change AT ALL after the nitrous pass?

test spray the nozzle in a bucket to make sure nitrous is spraying. also pull al the plugs and make sure they are there.

Ok, sounds good I'll look at the plugs. No purge tho I'll probably get that... I didn't think the pressure droped in the bottle.. So it kind sounds like it's drowning in fuel and that would explain the smell after it dies..

At work till Sunday so I'll have to wait till then to check'em

It's protesting.

It got a taste of nitrous and now doesn't want to run without it.

Just like everyone one else has said sounds like you might have a noid not opening which could be just a bad connection or maybe a bad noid that might just have trash in it. Good luck and go ahead and change the plugs since there so cheap.

Update::

Okay got off early tonight and was able to change the driver side plugs. One was still wet, the others had **** build up on them. I didn't start her up, I am going to wait till tomorrow and change them all before I start it up again.

Oil still looked new. Changed it less then 1000 miles ago. but i guess still wouldn't hurt to change her oil either...

definetly invest in a pruge, that way you get all of the air out of the lines before you start off your run with just air and fuel with no nitrous. purge is relatively cheap and safe imo. that way you can physically see the nitrous before you put it through your motor. good luck, sounds like what everyone else said(just fuel) so dont worry because i know id be shittin myself.

Default Same thing here

Mine did the same thing the other day. I hit 3rd gear and the car wouldn't go over 2000 rpm's, it acted like it had a rev limiter on it. I turned it off and back on and it was fine. Driving home I was sitting at a stop light and it just died. Turned it off and back on and it was fine again. 10 miles later it did it again. So keep me posted on what you find and I'll do the same. Thanks
