Default 05 gto, 100 shot results

My dyno guy wasnt all about letting me go to the 125s or 150s because of the spike, so I wasnt too happy about that. Not that he didnt want me to spray higher but because I couldnt spray higher. Numbers were 430/450 on the 100 shot. 05 auto, 3600fti stall, pacesetter longtubes, catless mids, stock catback, vararam. Kit is HSW plate with a micro-edge. Is this really considered too lean because of the spike? I had him pull up my old graph of my 02 ws6 and it was definitely not that lean on a 125 shot. I cant really complain though. My n/a numbers are 343/340 has gone 8.0 flat at 87 in the 1/8th with just headers/stall. The 100 shot should get me to mid 7s with ease, lower if I hook up.

The graph that I left with might look funny because I was playing with the micro edge delay hoping to drop that lean spike down, didnt so much work.

Crappy cell pics.

I thought everyone got lean spikes? Is mine worse than most?

Funny how the lean spike makes more hp as it gets richer the hp drops off.

On a serious note, I have read that longer fuel lines can also be a problem. Mine are definitely longer than what came in my kit, I ordered longer lines to move my fuel noid. Is that something I should look into?

If you have to have a long fuel line then put a longer N20 line, that will help a little but will delay the hit. We never worried about the spike because most times it happens during converter flash and it has never hurt anything.

Your hp should go up as it goes thru the rpm range not down.
That means the engine is not happy. Fix it and it will go alot faster.

Ah I'm picking up what you are putting down.

Not sure which graph that was might have been my 1st or 2nd pull, I dont think the final pull was falling off.
