Question solenoid ?

whats a good sealer to put on the pipe threads that go into the noids.i know not to use tef tape.used tef paste and now have nitrous/fuel leak.i have installed systems before and they came with some kind red sealer.the only reason i used tef paste this time was the nitrous outlet instructions said to.

Red is generally stud strength, and blue is more of a removable. I use blue, and would rec using this on aluminum noids for sure. the red can be real tuff to get back apart, depending on the number. Any soft seal Teflon paste is alright too, but it can blow out under certain conditions if you put it in service right away, where as Loc tight will not, it's instant seal.

I used teflon paste on my old car's kit, never had an issue with it leaking. I don't think I'd use a red loctite on a kit though

I mix the paste with red loctite on fittings that I don't plan on removing very often. On fittings going into the noids I use Loctite brand teflon paste. It's expensive but works great.

Used the blue loctite on mine on the N2O fittings after I had problems with the teflon paste leaking, even after letting it cure for days.
