Correct, there is a regulator at the NANO, and a check valve on the nitrous bottle when the nitrous bottle pressure drops, the regulator will flow to the bottle to maintain a constant pressure of about 950.

Ideally it should be about 1050psi static and 950psi dynamic. I would see if maybe your gauge is off a little bit? Or maybe the NANO came from the factory adjusted a little low. we can set the pressure to what we want, but i would eliminate gauge issue first. My electronic gauge reads a little different compared to my bottle gauge, but the read points are at different locations. what does your a/f ratio look like? and does the psi return to 950psi after a run? may be nothing wrong here at all and in acceptable adjustment range from the factory? I am sure Tom or Brad will be along Monday or sooner.

The psi stayed between 920-950 all night, it was also 85deg out here in florida though.

Did your nano bottle ever exceed 80-85F? From what I've read, if it does you lose the effectivness of the kit.

yea 85° is about 950psi, so that settles nothing, lol.

Not true what so ever. Just purge your bottle psi back down to normal, but it will need to get pretty damn hot. also, a wet towel will work as well as gel pacs. I have a bolt on solution for excessive pressure coming in the near future. You will have to do nothing.
