Default Ideas for blow down tube?

Ok so I have this blowdown tube
http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/prod...&cat=24&page=1

My bottle is mounted in the center of the car on the "hump" between the two back seats.

How would you all suggest having the blowdown tube come out of the car?? The angle is too great on the driveshaft hump so drilling through there is not going to be an option.

I saw a guys set up with the same blowdown although he added a few other pieces on..I PM'd him with no response

Could i just get a braided line thats the correct size AN? I think ive seen that before..

Even though you said it's out of the question, I'll chime in on how I did it on my old car

I had my bottle in the same place, so I ended up cutting down the blowdown tube some and had it exit in that area. The angle itself was not perfect, but as long as I put the bottle in with the blowdown tube going in first and the bottle on the brackets second, it never had a problem fitting

Braided line is nice, I was going to go that route but I didn't. That blowdown tube was way too short to exit the car, I also have my bottle mounted on the hump, so I ordered a custom length one from HSW.

Or........You could go to your local hardware store and get some 1/2" stainless and cut to fit. Flare it, and you're done. Just a thought.

You can get the braided hose and fittings at any speed shop locally. I hate the options the hard line does not give and have done braided for years.

This is my dual bottles going into the drain hole in the Vette tire well, and it's a bulkhead "T".

and the lines can be run right under the bottle mounts for a much cleaner look, imo. My heater transducers are also now gone (NANO) and it's a nice clean trick look. Too bad other companies besides NOS would put their gauges on the top, like they should be in a lot of cases. So many guys mount their bottles like this and have the gauge on the side, where it's useless, lol. It's all in the details that seperate the men from the boys, lol.

Giggity, you said Penetration. LOL

But that's exactly what I did. Built my own line from summit stuff. I have one for sale but don't know if it will be the right length.

No that picture is the NX transducers for the bottle heaters, which are now gone (NANO).
Here is when I had a single 15lb and a electric noid. NOS makes the only solenoid that was designed for bottle opening. it opens then disconnects the power, it's a 3-way switch, open off closed. Here it is.

and here's one I used an industrial noid that was designed for constant power (won't burn up like reg n2o noids). this was my '97 C5 coupe (lots of bottle pics at my fquik and web site)

will do, I gotta shorten up the blowdown and ill take some pics of the final setup, if you can see in the pic I faced the gauge forward so I can see it by just looking back from the drivers seat. Eliminates the need for me to get a gauge up front

No you have to buy a blow down fitting for the bottle. It threads into the port where the disk goes and then has a Male -8an on the other side to hookup the blowdown tube. PM me, I have one laying in the garage.

great idea, never thought about that. I got so used to the way NOS does the gauge facing up, that I always just look thru the back glass when outside and have an electric when inside. besides NOS, they all have the gauge off to the side, lol, not so good for some.
