TR7IX or BR7EF I keep reading non protruded tips but also keep hearing TR7's so which is it because the TR's are protruding tip? would i be better off on a DD car with the TR7's or the BR7's

That aint no lie, denso heat range 9 non projected tips are around 12 bucks. even the TR7IX is about 8 a plug. We ran irridium on our lightning that saw around 18 lbs of boost and a 150 shot.

stock 02 ls1 t/a LT's and a lid, cutout, 100-125 shot NX throught a nozzle in the intake boot between the MAF and TB. I have some BRAND NEW AR94, but they are projected tip also...

It depends on how much timing you are wanting to run. I sprayed 100 on my ol' lady's SS for a long time without any issues but I'm not going to guarantee that yours will be the same. Lots of people do it without any issues, just don't get too greedy with the timing.
